In April, the AAP published a framework they created to review all of the AAP’s clinical practice guidelines (CPGs) and clinical reports (CRs.) The goal of this review is to ensure that these resources are free of bias, discrimination, and racist ideologies. This is great news for all MN providers who turn to these documents for guidance on caring for patients! The framework and review they created allows pediatric providers to continue to trust the AAP CPGs and CRs to work for all patients, regardless of their race, gender, ethnicity, and geolocation.
